Copying discounts

You can copy an existing discount. Except for the discount name, the new discount is initially identical to the discount from which it was copied. You can then make configuration changes to the new discount.

Copying a discount saves you from having to create a completely new discount that shares similar configuration properties with existing discounts.

To copy an existing discount

  1. To create the copy, do one of the following:

    • On the Discounts page, for the discount to copy, click the ... icon in the Actions column, then click Copy.

    • On the Edit Discount page for the discount to copy, under Number of discount, click Copy Discount.

The Add a Discount page opens with a new (unsaved) discount. The new discount has identical configuration properties to the source discount. The only difference is that under Name of discount, the copied discount has (Copy) appended to the discount name.

  2. Optionally, you can edit any configuration property of the new discount. You can save the new discount without making any changes.

For a detailed list of discount configuration options, see the Discount configuration reference.

  3. Click Save to save the discount, then publish the changes.

After you create the new discount, it is listed on the Discounts page.
