Online ordering

Toast Online Ordering will accept orders if a restaurant is in offline mode. Note that there is no indication to the guest that the restaurant is offline.

When an order is placed to an offline restaurant, the online ordering module attempts for five minutes to get the order to the restaurant. When the five-minute period expires, the online ordering module sends an email to the guest informing them of a possible problem at the restaurant and instructs them to telephone the restaurant.
