Viewing service charges that were applied to orders

To view information about service charges that were applied to orders, you can use the Sales Summary report or the Order Details report.

The Sales Summary report lists the service charge names and the amounts that were applied to orders.

To view the Sales Summary report:

  1. Choose Reports > Sales > Sales summary.

  2. Use the View options at the top of the page to select a period of time, daily time frame, set of employees, and restaurant location.

  3. Click the Load Report button.

The Order Details report lists the service charges (if any) that were applied to each order. It also lists the service charge details, such as the tax and whether the service charge is a gratuity.

To view the Order Details report, choose Reports > Menus > Order details.
