The Settled Totals table provides an aggregated view of the payments, refunds, fees and deposits for all credit card transactions (Visa®, Mastercard®, and American Express®) that occurred during the selected time period. The tables that appear below the Settled Totals table in the report further break this information down by credit card type (these include the Visa/Mastercard/Discover/American Express table for Amex OptBlue customers or the Visa/Mastercard/Discover and American Express tables for Amex Direct customers) .

Daily billed customers: The total amount of interchange fees, network fees, and Toast processing fees withheld from deposits made for transactions that occurred during the selected time period. These fees can include:

Monthly billed customers: The total amount of interchange fees and Toast processing fees collected for transactions that occurred during the selected time period. These fees can include:

Daily billed customers: Daily billed customers do not see this column. |
Monthly billed customers: Monthly billed interchange plus customers see this column when viewing a partial month but, because its contents apply to flat rate customers only, it does not contain any data. This column will be removed for interchange plus customers at a later date. |

Fee Adjustments |
Daily billed customers: Daily billed customers see a Fee Adjustments column in the Settled Totals table when viewing one or more complete months. This column contains both the interchange and network fee adjustments for the selected time period. A more detailed breakdown of fee adjustments is available in the Adjustments table of the Cost Breakdown report. |
Monthly billed customers: Monthly billed customers do not see the Fee Adjustments column because they do not have interchange fee adjustments. Any network fee adjustments are included in the Network/Monthly Fees column instead. |

Daily billed customers: The monthly Toast processing fee (for example, $27.50). If the restaurant does not have a monthly Toast processing fee, this column is omitted. The Toast monthly fee can also be found in the Other Fees section of the Cost Breakdown report. |

Amex Settled |
Amex Direct customers: The total dollar amount that Toast sends to American Express on behalf of your restaurant for Amex Direct transactions that occurred during the selected time period. American Express deducts their fees from these funds and then deposits the remainder into your bank account one day after their processing is complete. The processing fees that American Express charges its Amex Direct customers are communicated directly between American Express and its customers. These fees are not communicated to Toast, so they do not appear in the Deposit Totals Overview report and they are not reflected in the dollar value of the Amex Settled column. The only fees that appear in the Deposit Totals Overview for Amex Direct transactions are the Toast processing fees and these fees are displayed in the Fees Collected column of the American Express table. |
