The sales categories report gives you insight into the income generated by items in each of your defined sales categories (food, beer, wine, merchandise, and so on). For the timeframe and locations you select, this report includes a row for each sales category that had a transaction for one or more items.
Note |
Currently, the report rows that are identified by a category name include only menu items that have an explicitly defined sales category. Items that inherit their sales category definition from the menu or menu group are included in the No Sales Category row instead. |
