Signing Up Through Toast Online Ordering

Guests placing an online order are prompted to sign up for a rewards account at the end of their order. The prompt shown depends on whether the guest is already signed into their Toast online ordering account:

  • If guest is signed into their online ordering account: They see a dialog describing your restaurant's rewards program and a Join Now! button. Clicking the button enrolls them in the rewards program and sends them an email with a link to their newly created rewards account.

  • If guest is not signed into their online ordering account: They see a dialog asking them to create a password so they can sign up for an online ordering account and the rewards program simultaneously. Since the guest's email address and phone number are required during checkout, they only need to create a password.
