By default, any restaurant employee can apply an available discount to a check.
You can configure a discount to require a manager to apply the discount.
If a manager is required to apply the discount, you can also require manager permissions for third-party rewards that are tied to the discount.
In the Advanced Settings section of the discount configuration page, the Permissions Level setting determines who can apply a discount.
By default, it is set to Any User, meaning that any restaurant employee can apply the discount.
To only allow a manager to apply the discount, select Manager.
A discount can be associated with third-party rewards.
When Permissions Level is set to Manager, then the Require manager permission for reward redemptions option is added immediately above the Discount Type field.
By default, the option is set to No. To require manager permission to redeem third-party rewards, select Yes.
