If an import file successfully passes the validation step, the Toast platform starts importing the rows in the file. If the import file does not pass the validation step, the error details are shown on the Import details page. The Import details page shows the following information:

Import date.

Import ID.

Error details, including the number of failed operations.

A link to download the report details, which includes information about the errors.

Instructions on how to retry the import.

Access to the Retry import button.
If errors are found, complete the following steps to fix the errors:

Download the report details. Review the error messages.

Open your copy of the import template. Locate the row and column that has the missing or incorrect data and fix the data based on the error message in the report details.

Download the fixed template as a CSV file.

Retry the import by selecting the Retry import button. This opens the Upload template page. On the Upload template page, a progress bar shows the progress of importing employees from the template.

Repeat steps until the import file is successfully uploaded.
