The following section provides answers to frequently asked questions about partner-specific visibility.

How granularly can I control partner-specific visibility?

Partner-specific visibility is only available for menus.

The partner-specific visibility settings are not available for menu groups, menu items, modifier groups, or modifier options. For these menu entities, visibility to ordering partners continues to be managed by a single Online ordering partners setting and the entities are either visible to all your online ordering partners or none of them.

How do I get to the partner-specific visibility settings?

The partner-specific visibility settings are only available in the menu builder tool.

Partner-specific visibility settings are not available from the Edit menus or Advanced properties pages. You can still manage the other visibility settings through these two pages but you will not be able to configure partner-specific visibility using them.

To access the partner-specific visibility settings in menu builder

  1. Log in to Toast Web.

  2. From the navigation pane on the left, select Menus.

  3. Select Menu management > Menu builder.

  4. Select the menu you want to edit.

  5. Select Channel visibility to scroll to the visibility settings.

  6. Toggle the Online ordering partner setting to On.

  7. Adjust the partner-specific settings so that partners that should be able to see the menu are checked and partners that shouldn't see the menu are not.

  8. Select Save.

  9. Select the X icon in the upper-left corner to return to the menu builder home page.

  10. Select Publish all changes, then select Publish again in the Confirm Publish dialog.
