Shift review is an optional end-of-day reconciliation process completed by employees before ending their shift and clocking out. Completing shift review includes closing all open and unpaid checks, reconciling cash payments and tips (if applicable), and clocking out. Optionally, as part of shift review, you may also have to declare cash tips and close any open cash drawers.
