A Toast Autofire™ device is responsible for approving and firing online orders to the kitchen. An Autofire device:

Approves orders that are sent directly to the kitchen and orders that use approval rules.

Prints payment receipts for online orders.

Fires scheduled orders to the kitchen based on the prep time.

Only Autofire devices can manually or automatically fire scheduled orders.
