Session restaurant

The session restaurant is the restaurant you are currently logged into. With the enterprise module, you are allowed to make changes that affect other locations beyond the session restaurant. There are areas of the Toast administration back-end that are designed to work only with the session restaurant and other areas that are designed to work with multiple locations in the context of the enterprise module. As you read through this section, you will learn which areas of the back-end you should use (and which you should avoid) when working with multiple locations. In particular, be careful to use the Advanced properties page to edit your menus for multiple locations and use the Publish config page to publish your changes to your restaurants. Also, any permissions you specify for your employees apply to the session restaurant only unless you explicitly provide them access to other locations.
