Versioning menu items

You can version menu items if necessary, however, if you only need to set different prices for menu items that appear in different locations, you should use location-specific pricing instead of versioning. Location-specific pricing allows you to set different prices per location on a single version of a menu item.

If you need to override other aspects of a menu item, you can use versioning. Note that, if you version a menu item and then want to set location-specific pricing, you will have to set the location-specific pricing on all versions of the menu item.

For more information on location-specific pricing, see Location-specific price overview.
