Toast IQ can return device-level details for any KDS device in your restaurant: whether it's configured as an expediter or prep station KDS device, the prep stations assigned to it, the dining options and courses it filters on, the printers connected to it, Autofire device settings, and network or hardware information (IP address, MAC address, model, Toast POS version, serial number).
Use the KDS device lookup when you're troubleshooting why something isn't appearing on a specific screen or you need a specific device's settings. For a high-level summary, ask for the kitchen overview instead.
