The details page for each menu, menu group, subgroup, menu item, or modifier group has POS nickname and POS button color settings, under the General info section. The details page for a modifier has a POS button color setting. These settings customize the name and color of the button that employees see in the Toast POS app.

If the nickname for the POS button is different than the menu entity's name, you can enter a POS nickname.
To specify a button color, select the POS Button color option and then select a color from the color palette.
By default, a POS nickname is not specified and the default button color is white.
