Overview of menu builder for multi-location restaurants

Toast introduced the menu builder as a replacement for the classic menu pages to provide an easier, more efficient tool for creating your menus. Toast is adding support to the menu builder for restaurants that use the multi-location module. Multi-location restaurants can now use the menu builder to edit menus and menu items used by multiple locations.

Important

While the menu builder supports editing menus and menu items for multi-location restaurants, it does not yet support creating those entities. You must create them first in the classic menus experience before you can edit them in the menu builder.

Also, the menu builder does not yet support creating or editing menu groups, modifier groups, or modifiers for multi-location restaurants.
