This section provides information about working with menus in the menu manager.
Follow the procedure below to create a menu.
To create a menu

Choose Menus > Menu manager to open the Menu manager page.

From the Show section, choose Full menu.

At the end of the menus list, select + Add menu, enter a name for the menu, and select the check icon. Alternatively, you can press Enter on your keyboard or select anywhere outside the text box to complete the entry. Your changes are automatically saved.

Manually publish your changes when you are ready for guests and employees to see them.
Follow the procedure below to rename a menu.
To rename a menu

Choose Menus > Menu manager to open the Menu manager page.

From the Show section, choose Full menu.

Select the menu's name to open its details page.

Enter the new name in the Menu name field.

Select Save.

Select the X in the upper-left corner, next to the menu's name, to close the details page and return to the Menu manager page.

Manually publish your changes when you are ready for guests and employees to see them.
Your Toast ordering channels display your menus in the order you see them in the Full menu view. You can reorder your menus so they appear in the order you want them to.
To reorder a menu

Choose Menus > Menu manager to open the Menu manager page.

From the Show section, choose Full menu.

Select the re-order icon for the menu you want to move and drag it to its new location in the list of menus. Your changes are automatically saved.

Manually publish your changes when you are ready for guests and employees to see them.
You can archive a menu to hide it from your Toast ordering channels.

To undo a menu archive, go to the Menus > Bulk management > Items database page in Toast Web. Select the Menus tab and then choose Show Archived. Select the checkbox for the menu you want to restore and choose Restore. |
To archive a menu

Choose Menus > Menu manager to open the Menu manager page.

From the Show section, choose Full menu.

Select the overflow menu (...) for the menu you want to archive and choose Archive menu.

To confirm, select Archive in the Archive the menu dialog.
